Visa information for Returning Students (Application for Certificate of Admission)

Hello, this is the International Students Support Team.
We would like to provide guidance on visa procedures for international students who wish to return from a leave of absence.

Students who plan to return must obtain a Certificate of Admission from the International Students Support Team, apply for a visa at the Korean Embassy in their home country, and then enter Korea.

※ After submitting the form, please contact us via KakaoTalk and send the original financial statement via EMS.

📄 Required Documents for COA

1. 1. A copy of your passport

2. 2. Two original copies of bank balance certificate issued in your name:

• - One copy for visa application at the Korean Embassy

• - One copy to be submitted to the university for issuance of the Certificate of Admission

💡Important Notes

• - The bank balance must be at least KRW 16,000,000 (to cover one year of tuition and living expenses).

• - The certificate must be issued in Korean Won (KRW).

• - The document must be issued within one month prior to the date of application for the Certificate of Admission.

• - The certificate must be in English. If written in another language, a translated version and translator confirmation form must be attached (no notarization required; see attached sample).

• - Required documents may vary depending on the embassy. Please confirm the exact requirements with the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your country.

• - Visa processing time may vary by country.
  Please check with the Korean Embassy in your country and prepare your documents in advance to avoid any delays.
